Hey leftist libtards of the board. Do you see how many upvotes my dude has gotten?
Do you see how many comments about how welcoming all of the "racist maga dudes" are that he is here legally and did it the right way?
Does that conflict with your narrative any?

Were you trying to become a citizen the whole time, and if not, how long did it take once you decided to apply?
How do you feel about the illegal aliens?

Welcome and congratulations, you and I share pretty much the exact journey!!
Before going to my official immigration naturalized ceremony I thought the country owed me big for having gone thru this long process! But as soon as the ceremony started I did a 180 and realized that it was I that owed this country a tremendous amount of gratitude!!
I cried of joy and pride when I raised my hand and pledge to defend it from foreign and domestic enemies!!
Proudest moment of my adult life, best country in the world to live in!
I hope you feel the same way, I think the journey to become a citizen and the personal hardships that one goes thru emotionally as well as financially is what makes you appreciate and love the country the day of the ceremony! It did for me!!
Congratulations!!
Much respect for these United States!!

Became a US citizen recently
Congrats!
Serious question did the process take that long, too expensive or just no advantage to becoming a citizen on why it too almost 22 years?

Congratulations. From my experience those who become citizens through the legal process are very happy to have finally received their citizenship, and are some of the most patriotic Americans, sometimes more so then those from families that have been here forever.

Congratulations!
I recently attended a Citizenship Induction Ceremony for a Russian friend who I helped bring over.
At his ceremony, there were 41 people from 28 countries and not one complainer or protester in the group.
I wish more native born Americans were aware of the process.

Congratulations. You did it the right way.
Sort of like Catholics, the ones who convert to the faith tend to appreciate it and be more faithful than those born into it.

Turns out Garcia was rightfully deported to his home country.

First of all, congrats!
Second...I'm sure many of mine fall into this category...
But a lot of my frustration comes from the below and the lack of want to fix it. Even seeing it just getting worse under Trump.
