The Secret Service has had female agents since 1971. There have been numerous reports of bad morale, bad training and lack of resources for the Secret Service since the early 1990s. Look at what they let happen for Trump's first assassination attempt. DEI is the least of their problems.

She was a trainee. Maybe she shouldn't have been there and only got the slot for GirlBoss reasons, but if you're going to have a negligent discharge training is the place for it.

It’s usually people who rarely handle firearms or handle them all the time, not the folks in the middle.
I have sent roughly a million rounds downrange in my life/career. We used to shoot thousands of rounds a week at times.
Had a guy put a round through his calf next to me. Regiment/Group/behind-the-fence guy. Total stud and well-respected.
It’s not acceptable by any stretch, but do anything long enough/enough times and shite will happen eventually.
