Thats my line as well. I cant see any possible way that would end up happening though. Even if they hit one of our bases in the ME, there is a reason they have been massing fighter jets in the region. We would just bomb the living shite out of them until they stopped, just like with the Houthis

Hey if we went in and successfully destroyed the sites and got out, and that’s all there is to it I’m ok with this.
That’s what our military should be. Sometimes intervention is necessary but it doesn’t have to be boots on ground, drawn out for years, cost trillions of dollars and years of occupying a country and nation building. Have an objective, go hard at it and complete it, and get out.

Sometimes it seems like you blow with the wind without anything grounding you. The outcome here is still unknown.
Is this escalation something that Iran can match? Will there be additional price to pay for America? With the Ayatollah still in power, will his efforts be fully disuaded? If he escalated, to what level of effort do we see for regime change? Will the regime change be for the better?
Actions do not happen in vacuums. It is definitely possible that their nuclear facilities and capabilities are crippled and they decide to act appropriately moving forward. I would not bet on that, but it is possible.
