Nice try. You know people can look up the stock on their own?

It was twiced that before the tranny debacle. They were at an all time high of 9%, in March, now below 6. And this is just the beginning. 3% is going to hurt

Right. So I would think a targeted boycott of the product doing the idiotic campaign would be most effective. That’s Bud Light.

My rational is to get the attention of labels like Modelo who will then put pressure on their AB distributor that the idiot leading the Bud Light catastrophic and idiotic marketing strategy needs to be fired.

Last 5 days its down $4.60 (not counting Wed)

Today it was down $1.73 or 2.66%

Adding to prior 5 its now down $6.33 in last 6 trading days and 8.01%

And its just getting started.

Ball is who makes Bud can stock and they are down 8.94% in last 6 days. I think Bud is 13% of their overall annual sales, so that tells me Bud can orders have slowed way down.

As has been pointed out in various threads, beer is one of the industries where you can see your response on short notice between direct distribution and the turnaround time on product because it is very perishable.

InBev going radio silent appears to be a sign that the numbers suck and they are hoping it goes away if they ignore it, staunching the bleeding.

The longer BL continues to sell poorly, the worse off they are.

Even if this is only a short time thing, it means that there is a LOT of product out there which is not getting sold.

If demand rebounds, it means a short term glut in beer before things return to normal.

If it doesn’t rebound, it means they now have a lot of capacity churning out something that doesn’t have the demand it used to. Which should scare the shite out of them for a number of reasons.

Lol yup. Thing is Bud Light is $4B in sales per year so the InBev valuation loss is more than a years wirth of total BL product.

Bud Light Update - Good news!

On 3/31, @AnheuserBusch had a $132.38 billion market cap

As of 4/12, it’s now $125.73 billion

This means the Bud Light Boycott has shaved off *$6.65 BILLION* in company value

The bleeding hasn’t stopped

On the contrary, it’s only getting worse

Do you think they did this on purpose for some reason? Like a good conspiracy or something?

Come on guys. If you're going to do a boycott of a product, you gotta figure out what alternatives are owned by the same company and not buy those too

Eh, the main point is they learn their lesson. If Bud Light gets smoked, then good.

Let me know when it falls behind it’s 100 day moving average or falls below it’s 52 week low. If the brand was getting crushed those things would have happened already.

If they want to brand of me as a “hater“, then I gladly accept. Toss in deplorable or irredeemable, I am all for it.
