Well the article was published an hour prior to the 2015 State of the Union, so it seems appropriate. If you'd like to learn more about other designated survivors you can easily find them on the internet.
I'm also shocked that no one has mentioned that the video in the OP talks about what would happen if both Obama and Biden are killed pre-inauguration. It kind of destroys all the faux outrage in this thread.

If you don't see the difference in hypotheticals about getting assassinated on your last day on office vs. getting assassinated on your 1st day in office resulting in the opposition party remaining in power, not much I can do to help you.

Yeah, um I'm gonna havta go ahead and tell you, that you are really-really stretching this crap. When they said both Obama and Biden die they then named SOS Kerry and others. Then @ executive orders @ whitehouse.gov Obama just so happened to designate SOS Kerry, Guess what? This little matter of succession has been covered already, no need for Obama's executive Order.
CNN presented this as a Developing Now, story, NOT as a poli science/history lesson.

CNN presents almost everything as a developing story. Hell every time they return from commercial it says "breaking news". It's stupid but it's what they do.
The OP video talked about who would be in charge if Obama/Biden were killed pre-inauguration, who would be in charge if Trump/Pence were killed post inauguration, then talked about Stste of the Union designated survivors.
And people in this thread actually bitched about it. I swear most of the posters on this board are more hysterical than Trump.
