WTF???????? These people are insane. CNN has become unhinged. Maybe it's time that people who have cable petition their local providers to take CNN of the guide or make them part of the ultra premium package that few pay for

The mental gymnastics and intellectual dishonesty you have displayed in this thread are disappointing. Would have been very easy to say it was in bad taste. You wanted proof that CNN talked about who would be President should Obama and Biden be assassinated at the State of the Union. And look at that, you got an excerpt from the CNN coverage of last year's State of the Union where they did just that.

Posters in this thread aren't willing to accept that CNN talks about the designated survivor every year before the Stare of the Union. They certainly don't want to hear about that.

Please. You stated that CNN does this same story every year. I asked for you to substantiate it. You offer evidence of a substantially smaller story in a materially different medium than the one in the OP. The only person reaching is you. It's a strange thing to need to defend a cable network...

Interesting details...during the last SOTU, there were two...Jeh Johnson and Orrin Hatch. You know it wasn't Obama's decision to include Hatch...Orrin must have made that decision on his own. I wonder if that decision by Hatch was influenced by the TV series. I had never heard of an opposition party member in line above the Cabinet sitting out the SOTU.

You're more defensive than usual. It's ok. You can admit to ring wrong and that CNN has discussed what would happen if Obama was killed. They did it before previous State of the Union Addresses. Hell, they did it in the video that started this thread.
