Seriously, what has he done?

Screwed over a fellow republican congressman for failing to kiss the ring.

Scrapped the mid-barataria diversion project to satisfy some oyster fishermen at the expense of building new marsh.

Appointed a child from the Dakotas to head wildlife & fisheries

Dispatched state police to New Orleans to circumvent the consent decree (gotta give him props for this one)

Sparked a faux anthem controversy based on a misunderstanding

Attempted a hostile takeover of the public defender board (also possibly a good thing)

I see zero thread on the first page of PT about Landry.

Did you mean to post this on the rant?

Jeff has yet to one single thing that will make the state better.

But the real problem is the GOP deceives us.

The democrats say they want to destroy the country then take steps to do so.

The GOP says they support freedom, then they take steps to take away freedom, like requiring a goverment entity to punish someone for not standing.

The GOP says they support freedom, then pass the Patriot Act.

The GOP says they support small government, but never reduce spending.

The GOP says they support open government, then try to pass bills that limit public record access.

Would you support a BLM protestor doing a silent protest during your church's service? Does someone have the right to protest at work without being fired?

If one is allowed then they should all be allowed. Or we can recognize that there are appropriate places for such things.

This is just hypocritical cover for the leftist indoctrination some have fallen for

If this was Ron DeSantis addressing public universities in Florida, 25% of this board would be asking why other red state governors werent doing the same

If this was the Iowa guv calling out Caitlin Clark missing the anthem while LSU was proudly standing on the court, there wouldnt be a slot on the first page of the PoliBd to start a new thread, because of the number of posters throwing shade at Clark and her coach

Because hes not just dealing with the prima donnas from the LSU WBB team, youve also got Southern, Grambling, UL Monroe, NSU, McNeese, etc where kids need that scholly and will have a reason to push back on the nonsense that they have been succumbing to

Democrats can do whatever they want and stick together

No they don’t. I’m amazed that some believe this. They are as fractured as Republicans, and they are currently at each other’s throats.

Bill Maher, JK Rowling and Dave Chapelle are at war with the trannies and the woke branch is at war with the pro-Israel establishment wing of the Democratic party.

This idea that Democrats are always united is complete nonsense. What is true is that Trump’s presidency united them against a common enemy. Being out of power tends to do that. But once back in power their coalition fractured badly.

Landry is a fricking bitch, that caters to the retarded, low hanging fruit that believes a piece of fricking fabric makes a difference.

Jeff Landry has been a joke. From telling educators they can't have a raise to giving his buddies a raise along with a car allowance, the anthem debacle where he made the state look foolish, to his handling of insurance so far. Totally showing he is inept to handle being governor. Louisiana went with the wrong Republican.

I'm not fragile I actually agree w/ him. he reality is we are 49th / 50th statically I'm a lot of categories that hamper our quality of life. I know he has only been on the job 3 months and it is not his fault but it is his responsibility to help fix it and drawing attention to your self in a state that vision not doing well is not smart, especially a state that is very conservative to begin with who was going to be affected w/ his statement.
We have a tremendous mountain to climb this should not be what you are concerned with. And if it is then you call the school president and board and above private conversation. It make the one good thing we have sports and tarnish it.

Instead of the person who was most qualified to be put in charge of LDWF.

As a biologist and lawyer, most of her career was in the private sector within divisions of regulatory sciences and legal.

What good job? Jeff is fake.
Overreacting to missing the national anthem is somehow making America stronger? Some of you guys love grandstanding and performance politics. Cool.
