The problem with that is it pops up randomly on other friends feeds (even very casual friends who arent involved in that conversation) and you look like a weirdo. Cost me a couple of friends that I didn't want to lose. I only found out about it like a year ago from someone who knew us all.
I like liberals - I have much more in common with a typical liberal than I do with a typical conservative when it comes to things like food, travel, clothes, art, books, theater, and how to spend a great weekend. I'd much rather spend a weekend wine tasting and exploring Seattle than I would fishing, for example. It sucks to be me from 2017 on. I didn't realize how great I had things from 2011 to 2017.

My experience is that the older nurses like myself were skeptical of all the Covid/vax crap and refused the vax.The younger ones that hadn’t been around so long to see how many times the medical profession has been wrong about various things.
I was like that my first years myself,took every thing I was as told as “gospel”. Thinking back it’s amazing how many things we did were useless or sometimes actually harmful.

Anthropogenic climate change is a real problem though. It is a political hot button because the only options to mitigate it involve 6% of the earth's population no longer being responsible 50% of the consumption on this planet because that 6% is most of us.
I understand why it is important for climate change to be fake though because nobody wants to stop getting treats and it is harder to live with yourself if you have to accept your lifestyle is part of the reason it is getting harder to live on this planet.
To be sure, I sure do like my big air conditioned single family home and luxury car. But I guess I'm more able to live with the cognitive dissonance.
