His position as a special government employee is limited to 130 days. For him to go on any longer would require a position/title change. He told Bret Baier the other night that he’ll have met his goal of trimming $1T by the 130 days, so he’ll walk away.
Correct answer.

No, the plan was 2 years.
100-120 days only, not two years for Elon.

Elon doesn’t need to micromanage Doge. Set up the infrastructure and let his process continue to work.

Their actual sales numbers have contracted and BYD is going to absolutely wreck Tesla outside of the U.S. This isn't even a recent development.
Interesting the number of simpletons that thinkTelsa is a car company. Says a lot about people who "follow" the news

Ok.Just keep looking at the cars bro.
I understand that cars are only part of their business and I've done business with Tesla with their other business units. But it certainly isn't a good thing that the car arm of their business is declining.
Nope, I dont think that you do. And I dont think that TIm Waltz understands either. Its ok, yall just sit over there while the adults figure out the market.

Show us that. The article from last week where he said he was stepping down after 130 days states it was the FIRST time he gave a date when he would leave. So please show us your 2 year date in print.
Oh and he said by 130 days, they would have cut close to 1 trillion. That is a lot of liberal tears.

Was there ever any $$ amount or explanation if there were any checks cut to SSNs over 115 years old?
Otherwise, Database cleanup performance.
We should know what fraud/waste savings has actually been confirmed to be accurate.
Firing Veterans, IRS and Park Service Workers is a cost cutting measure that has saved how much?

Things are kicked off in the right direction and with the proper tone regarding waste, fraud, and abuse.
He got things moving fast, not at the typical galacial pace of government.

Good.
He needs to go get a real job and stop mooching of the taxpayers for a salary and healthcare.

It's under control. AI has all the data they need. He's now got much more important stuff to do...
Like finding baby-mama for #15. Like building a new CGI spaceship to CGI "Mars." Like uploading his own upgraded new brain chip. Like updating his lace implants into all of humanity in preparation for our Brave New Mandatory Transhumanist World.
Ha, I kid. Musk obviously has somebody like Larry Ellison implant his new, bigger brain-chip.

As an old dude, FORTRAN and COBOL have quirks. While updating may eventually cut cost, my guess is conversion would take at least 2 years to do correctly not 2 weeks to 2 months
IF no checks were ever cut, my guess is they were checksums to sort data errors by specific ages older than the oldest person in the database.

Correct, and it should be independent auditors with no ties to either party

Spoke to some senior IRS folks, not real happy as if they are not collecting taxes, the US gov is writing rubber checks they can not honor and if you or I did it, they send us to jail.
On a side note, do not be surprised at the number of government workers who are actually veterans. 20 years ago at the Federal level 1/4 to 1/3 would have been a solid guess.

he isn't paid nor does he take govt healthcare. are you nuts?
Posted on 4/2/25 at 12:56 pm to LSUAngelHere1
I’m fine with this. Glad he was there to get it up and running but he couldn’t be there forever. He can always come in and consult from time to time.

I believe it. The town halls had a lot of angry veterans speaking out.

That's fine if he goes. DOGE will keep going on.

Feds want to push it off to the states and cities. VERY bad idea as even more state and local are veterans. Teachers are a big chunk but look at your local police, fire department, and city enforcement (like PVA and such) and it is probably much higher than the feds.
On a side note those are real Vets and real Republicans as I know the ones I see on local TV.
