Where were the senators and what were they doing for their districts when this started?

Remember when Trump admitted to Woodward that he downplayed the pandemic early on, in order to control the run on meat, paper products, and PPE? The media called for his removal from office and immediate prosecution.
Just a few weeks later, Fauci admitted to doing the EXACT same thing (ironically, to cover up some of his MANY inconsistent statements), and the same media wrote breathlessly about how prudent it was.
