Nah...only people who support or commit murder and see nothing wring with killing innocent people?

Do you understand the difference?

I would take a step back and just say unrepentant sinners.

Joe has said that abortion goes against his faith but he won’t violate his political beliefs for that. By his own admission, he’s chooses what’s easy over what’s right.

I’m far from perfect but have to check my political beliefs against my faith numerous times and had to change on the death penalty and immigration to some degrees.

Never understood how Catholics can be democrats. They stand for everything the church is against. Abortion being the primary one.

I don't know where you are with these two, but I have long not cared for us wanting an eye for an eye, and also have a soft spot for those fleeing shitholes to come to the U.S.

That pastor probably gives communion, knowingly or unknowingly, to folks who have broken every single one of the Ten Commandments.

you are projecting here, it doesn't make Biden any more right in his belief that it is ok to kill babies

I’ve moved my abortion stances to my death penalty stances. All life is valuable and I would rather a repentant man be able to have the opportunity to give closure to those they’ve harmed. I put it this way, would the family of a murdered family member rather hear “eff you all” or “I’m so sorry for the pain I’ve caused you” from the chair? I desire the possibility of repentance over man’s justice. But I do believe that they should pay for their crimes through labor and word. That being said, in the grand scheme of politics, if somebody is pro-life and pro-death penalty, I can accept that over anti-life and anti- death penalty.

On immigration, I don’t believe “build that wall” or “you have to go back” are words that would ever come out of Jesus’ mouth. That being said, we are to submit to the laws of the land, and people passing through other nations and then claiming asylum is a lie more often than not. I’ve come to the conclusion that we need to support our legal immigrants and find a way to correct the behavior of people that are trying to push to the front of the line. I want what’s best for them, but recognize the abuses possible in the status quo. I find that this isn’t far off from the republican stance in reality (not the Democrat exaggeration and demonization.)

Thank God he isn't being punished. He is not receiving a sacrament....a sacrament that grants forgiveness of sins, but not mortal sins. He can reconcile this with the Church.

I may be wrong here, as I am a Baptist, but after attending a bunch of Catholic events I read up on it....

I’m not sure what you’re trying to say.

The only point I’m trying to make is that when priests selectively refuse sacrament to someone regardless of the reason, they’re most likely not being consistent. I bet the priest in question has knowingly given sacrament to married people that are going through a divorce.

The priest used this for political reason.

If that’s true I would agree. It’s the same.

That being said, I was in charge of communion for 6 years at 3k+ member church. I purposely avoided men serving or taking communion if I knew they were in affairs or divorced through unbiblical means.

Once I had a man serve that WAS in an extramarital affair but I didn’t know it till somebody pointed it out afterwards and I hate that but I can’t know what’s going on for everybody. He wasn’t allowed to serve till he had reconciled with his wife.

There are plenty of other unrepentant sins that were going on and I would avoid taking communion but that’s the easy one to pick on.

I don’t think a priest should shame someone like that. If a person wants to live their life in sin and still receive communion, that’s between them and God and the priest should back off.

What sort of candy-assed, feelings first bullshite it this? The Church needs more people like this. People who aren't afraid to call out garbage. If they had more, these pedophiles wouldn't have been cowardly moved from place to place and would have been given the boot and turned over to police.

God has one means of punishment and Biden isn't there yet. This is a priest enforcing Church rules, which he has every right to do so.

God set up different peoples and different nations for a reason. It’s unnatural this mixing up that’s being done now, and it’s so clearly and obviously the most evil among us pushing it. Very anti-Jesus people.
