Your mindset is exactly the problem!!!
Here's a lil help for you from Grok.
You obviously are confused.
PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY :
Personal responsibility (also called individual responsibility or personal accountability) refers to the idea that you are the primary owner of your choices, actions, thoughts, and their consequences — both good and bad.In simple terms, it means:Holding yourself accountable for what you do (or fail to do).
Not shifting blame to external factors (like other people, circumstances, luck, or society) when things go wrong.
Recognizing your agency — the power to make decisions and influence your own life path — while accepting that you live with the results.

Maybe.
One thing the ICE officer has on his side, if this somehow turns into a criminal trial, is his past history of trauma and injury suffered by a fleeing suspect/criminal dragging him with a car 100 yards down the road, after which he ended up in the hospital.

Whatever Minneapolis judge who gets the case won't allow that tidbit in court. It's like you forgot all about the Chauvin screwjob he got in his trial.

Agents life was put in risk so he should just disregard for his and his fellow agents lives ? In a split second he had to weigh his training and his own safety along with any other possible people in the way of an out of control escalating situation. I would think more than a few would freeze up and get seriously hurt. That perp surely gave no regard towards the escalation in violence

Experiment. Stand 5 feet in front of a car and let the person take off quickly and see if you can avoid injury. Let us know how this goes.

it's simple.
ALWAYS ALLOW CRIMINALS TO GO ABOUT THEIR BUSINESS ! Never give Trump the win. On ANYthing.

Look at the windshield with a hole.

Seems cut-and-dried to me that the officer acted in self-defense, but I've noticed downvotes everytime someone has stated this. So, for those who think he acted incorrectly here's your chance. Don't just downvote and run off. Tell us what you think he should've done differently.
I mean, in a dream world I think he doesn’t meander randomly in front of the car in the first place. That was his real mistake.
From there I don’t celebrate but understand the shoot.
Ultimately he drastically changed his own decision tree and I don’t think he did it with particular intention- so it was all negative risk and very little reward in taking that route.
Was my personal opinion and ill share it’s been personally echoed to me from some folks that are highly trained in this that that’s the mistake they each circled as primary too.

There were only 2 shots and they were micro seconds apart...he went pew pew and she went blahhhh. He will have no problem with self defense. However, because of the libtard world we live in, this has completely ruined his life and hopefully he can get the help he needs to mentally go through it all

There were many options he could have done. Probably shoot her tires out or let her leave would have been the two better options.
Or since we’re living in your fantasy world of rainbows and unicorns, dumb arse skank could have but tried to run over a fed agent

People who say he should have stepped out of the way are wrong.
Those crazies think that he shouldn’t have applied and been hired by ICE. They believe that simply by him being employed he deserved to be injured or die.

Where does ICE do that Neo from the Matrix training?
They'll get a ton of agents for that action!

Her using her vehicle as a weapon did grant him reason to end the threat. Some of you dumb mf's think movies are reality.

After watching the cell phone video and hearing the audio, I would make the arguments that she did not use her vehicle as a weapon and his life was not in danger at all.
Maybe I am wrong but we will see how this plays out. I’m sad that we are at this point in our country.

Unfortunately, this is the answer. He could have unloaded the magazine through the windshield on her. But unless that car can drive sideways or she is aiming a gun at him, the shots from the side are unlawful.
Same reason why you can't shoot someone in the back if they failed to murder you and then start to run off.
