IDGAF where he was born or if he’s naturalized or not. His allegiance is not solely to the US and he’s not an elected official. He should not be stonewalling executive action.

Full stop.

He may think he does, but that order is a dead man walking.

No one has a right to a security clearance and as C-in-C, Trump has the unfettered discretion in granting or revoking them.

The problem/issue is that Trump has a tendency to completely ignore the established/statutory procedures for doing things that he does have (eventually) the right to do. he cuts corners, and thereby violates the law.

There's no "procedure" for revoking a security clearance. You have one or you don't and your ability to maintain it is at the whim of the authority that can grant or revoke it.

Wanna guess who that authority is?

The courts create corners not justified by the constitution all the time.

You're wasting your time talking to an idiot that tosses his salad in his mom's basement to fans only sluts and reads Democratic underground and Reddit like they're the sole truth.

I'd like to meet some of these morons in real life. Just have a conversation over a beer and see in person how truly fricked up they are.

So, one judge gets to determine who gets security clearance? Theoretically, that judge could allow any of our enemies access to classified information.

This case involves the government’s retribution against a lawyer because he represented whistleblowers and other clients who complained about the government, carried out by summarily canceling the attorney’s security clearance without any of the process that is afforded to others.

In a nutshell - without any of the process afforded to others - not "due process" not "mandatory process"

This judge just ruled on "feels" because others had some other reason rather than a unilateral termination of a security clearance.

This is a quick reversal and... again, our feckless house refuses to punish judges that are incompetent at best and plain evil at worst.

From ChatGPT: Department of Navy v. Egan (1988): This Supreme Court case affirmed the president's authority over national security decisions, including the revocation of security clearances. It emphasized the executive branch's sole responsibility in these matters, making it difficult for courts to intervene.

So, if the attorney says "I'm going to give state secrets to everyone". That's a violation of his free speech for removal of security clearance ? Right....

SCOTUS has spoken on this - I'm riding with them until they say otherwise

EXCEPT where the White House acts in violation of the Constitution. Here, the contention is that the White House revoked Zaid's clearance in violation of his First Amendment rights. In particular, the contention is that Trump revoked the clearance because Zaid has been critical of Trump.

Unless there is a fundamental right to a security clearance, the reason for the revocation is meaningless.

There isn't.

The President has absolute authority.

That's why every other lawsuit against Trump by other lawyers has FAILED on the issue of the revocation of security clearances.

I posted a pic of a city in ONTARIO. A pic of a city that most well-read people would recognize ... in response to the stupid-assed post about this judge coming from the "third world." No one would have recognized a photo of Kingston, Ontario. Hell, most have never HEARD of Kingston, Ontario.

You seem to be chronically angry at everyone and everything. Take a breath. Relax before you have an aneurysm.
