A bigger problem for him may be a past lawsuit where he sued the state to block access to a popular fly fishing river near his property. Public lands access has turned into a hot issue in the West thanks to the Trump administration allying itself with extreme anti public lands factions

I mean, I have no idea how the district reacts since it's Montana. Seems that the reporter just walked on private property uninvited and was dealt with.
It would play differently if in a more metropolitan region, and certainly in a public area.
The fact that this pussy was tweeting about it in an ambulance speaks volumes. I just don't think middle America gives a shite about this kind of this stuff. This isn't the caning of Charles Sumner here.
