The only thing that makes sense is that university has one of the top trauma centers in that part of the country and he was 2 minutes away.

From a medical standpoint ther is no way other than a complete and utter miracle that he is intact and I can say that with complete certainty....

I’m shocked he was alive when they took him off the stage. That hit looked to be dead on in the center neck with catastrophic blood loss.
Bleeding out from that type of wound is a “in minutes” thing, like less than 5 minutes.

You are full of crap and a combat medic can’t work miracles depending upon the damage that was done. IF it hit his artery there is probably a less than 10% chance it is survivable or his spinal column. I clean cut with prompt medical treatment, very treatable. A heavy trauma wound with likely bullet and bone fragments, extremely difficult

No one would have had good news that quickly during a trauma in a hospital. My guess is he died

if he has a pulse he has brain damage from blood loss and lack of oxygen to the brain.....there is no way he is intact. I wish it was otherwise, I saw him speak last year in Montana.....but its not possible.

Not gonna lie. That immediate blood loss shut down his brain. If he's alive, I can't imagine his outcome looks great. That gush of blood would have been depriving his brain of oxygen within seconds. How many minutes did it take to get him to the hospital?
