It's funny how these talking points end up in so many social media posts. I saw some feminist Tulane girl on my FB feed describing how "so many Trump supporters had came to her and said they regretted their vote". In what world would that be true? Trump's major platform was based around things like the wall and the immigration orders.

This is what confuses me. We keep seeing all these anectodal stories about Trump voters with regret. Why the hell would they have voted for him, if they would be turned off by him actually following through with what he said he was going to do?

It makes no sense. The only way it would make sense is if Trump did a 180 and did the opposite of what he said he would do.

Who gives a shite if these mass protests and marches reinforce anti-Trump minds in blue states and urban centers. What matters is what voters who voted for him in rust belt states or swing states, as well as important 2018 states/districts. what they think. I find it hard to believe they are jumping ship. Yet it won't stop Good Morning America and CBS This Morning and CNN from running all these pieces about how Trump voters are having regrets.

No. Quite the opposite.

Such as?

I can't see anything he's done that he wasn't forewarned.

They're drowning out their own outrage as well. Today they march and protest immigration, tomorrow it will be outrage against his SCOTUS pick.

CTR is back as ShareBlue, and is pushing this narrative

So pathetic

The memo contains plans for defeating Trump through impeachment, expanding Media Matters' mission to combat "government misinformation," ensuring Democratic control of the Senate in the 2018 midterm elections, filing lawsuits against the Trump administration, monetizing political advocacy, using a "digital attacker" to delegitimize Trump's presidency and damage Republicans, and partnering with Facebook to combat "fake news."

With all that said I don't think the media even realizes that they continue to play right into his hands with 24/7 breaking emergencies every 5 minutes. It's a great way for people to stop paying attention to them.

Boy who cried wolf

Yeah these protests may energize blue voters in blue states/districts.

But the Trump voter in Pennsylvania or Florida will eventually have their overload of these protests and outcries and ignore them.

Its also why I think the tea party was effective. For two reasons. One they picked ONE issue(before the GOP tried to co-opt it) and stuck to that and that alone. That issue was out of control government growth and neither party caring about the people. Two, they didn't align themselves against one politician or political party - the anger was directed at both parties and career politicians.

Now someone will come in and say no you are wrong, the tea party was just opposition to Obama. That's the lie the media wants you to believe.

I am actually more comfortable, and happier for having voted MAGA, than I was 11/9.

My only regret is not jumping on the Trump train sooner. Had other repubs that i preferred but Trump has been awesome so far.

Even though i still think he's a bit immature sometimes, its becoming obvious that Trump is the only one with balls enough to do what needed to be done, in spite of the media/liberal backlash, and fight fire with fire. Maybe the immaturity is a strength after all.

I have no regrets he has these progressives chasing their own tail. This is the shakeup Washington needed ,because he gives zero fricks and does not try to appease these progressives like the typical Establishment Republican does.

Quite the opposite. I'm thrilled he is following through on his promises. The icing on the cake is the wailing and gnashing of teeth by the snowflake crowd.

two biggest complaints for me are

EPA- I don't care if they want to make it less political, but if the people pay for a study it should be published

Roll out of EO to ban the 7 countries - Green Card and legit Work Visa holders shouldn't have been effected.

Also broader compliant- I hated when BO did EOs I don't magically like them now.
