Because it wasn't owned by Russia number 1 and number 2 we have sent the Ukraine 200 billion in weapons and training in what people call a "proxy" war which is insane given it is out in the open and we have 100% had boots on the ground with training.
Do you really think they care about a tanker flying Russian flags over what we have done in the Ukraine? If in 4 years they haven't started WWIII over the Ukraine, they will not do anything over a fracking ship that changed its flags.

People need to wake up an realize exactly how strong the USA is militarily. No other nations even come close. You launch a nuke, we will destroy it in your airspace. You see, Russia loves their children, too!!
Of course the MIC just got their wake up call as well. But, because of the MIC, the USA just really did not ever flex because they wanted to sell what we were able to show them in "mini" wars that tragically cost thousands of lives.

Compare the Afghanistan withdrawal to what we've seen in Iran and Venezuela.
I remember folks around here trying to say Trump was partially responsible for the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal because he had first planned it!!!
