If you can't see that this is directly tied to the continued drop in deaths in the US due to illegal drug overdoses and a huge boost in the US GDP through American firms rebuilding the oil infrastructure of SA, I dont know what to tell you...

If this isnt America first, what is? America First isn't isolationism post WW1, it is making moves that benefit the US first and duck everybody else's view on it.

This is not how addiction works. People aren’t going to stop being addicts because we staged a coup in Venezuela.

Hardly. Strikes to the very heart of the matter.

Your life is peaches so why worry about people oppressed by communism in brown countries? The very definition of white privilege.

That's the problem with the neocons and their endless wars. They totally soured good people like you on ANY international involvement when it is necessary.

However, Trump is going to be like Bush the Elder. Bush kicked Saddam out of Kuwait and then got the hell out of Kuwait. Trump will do the same. There is a democratically elected government in Venezuela that was not allowed to take office. Trump can simply recognize it as the legal government or hold new elections under international observers.

Why stop here? Why not conquer every country that has resource that would benefit America?

So to have you on record, you’re OK with China/Iran/Russia gaining a strong foothold in Venezuela, a country that’s not far from us and borders the Caribbean Sea? We’re talking economic and military footholds.

Why aren’t you worried about oppressed brown people in your own backyard? It’s almost as if you align your concerns with the president’s social media posts.

I'm actually glad Trump took this action.

But a lot of the guys down voting you...let's see how they feel when we send billions in foreign aid to Venezuela. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together knows that's coming.

Addicts generally can't be saved and deep down everyone knows this. We can, however, make it more difficult for people to become addicts in the first place.

I find it so interesting your so sure this about drugs when Venezuela has been trading oil in yuan which is a direct threat to the petrodollar hegemony.

Curbing the flow of illegal drugs can't hurt present addicts and will prevent future addicts.

This is not true at all.

And you think people become addicts because of Venezuela?

Never said that. They're just one of many fostering it. There are a million reasons why the Maduro regime collapsing is a good thing

Like paying a brown woman $50 to clean your house? It’s people like you who are oppressors. Just like the left, you’re guilty of what you accuse.

There’s a reason to support this one.

Maduro’s Venezuela is a true threat to our homeland unlike Iraq.

He was hosting Chinese diplomats just yesterday.

When opioids became more difficult to get through legitimate means, people turned to heroin and fentanyl. That absolutely hurt present addicts at the time.
