This doesn't make sense if you're open to the idea that it's a shitty program, regardless of intentions.
That's the ugly reality that the Left never wants to confront. Rather, they live in a fantasy world where as long as intentions are kinda sorta good, then the program/spending can't be stopped.

Apparently, if broke, unemployed people do not receive subsidized childcare....they would be forced to have their kids with them during the day.

The original idea was so moms could work and not be on government assistance. Then they got the assistance and still dont work. Women flat out ruin all things they touch. And they are so weak, you lose votes if you tell then no.

It's an emotion that fedgov spending is ridiculously bent?
Nah, it's not an emotion. It's a considered and clear understanding. The federal gov't does more bad than good regardless of intentions.
You're the emotional one - arguing that fixing the problem is "reckless and poorly thought out" because millions of parents rely on taxpayers.
