Been reported that it was bombs planted around 2 months before knowing that the hamas leader typically stayed there when he came to visit

Iran is saying it was a projectile that hit outside.
Now the fun part. If you’re Israel and you do have someone in the country that fired a projectile, you make up the planted bomb story to create some misdirection.

Pretty sure out military, including carrier groups, have been in the middle east for the past 30 years.
