It’s also that these big companies and corporations because they thought it would earn brownie points with liberals who routinely go after their tax breaks and profits etc., they have filled their mid and senior level management and board rooms with diversity hires. Now these people are calling the shots or at least wielding influence within these companies. Been sitting back and watching it happen and get progressively (pun intended) worse over the last 10 years.

I don't care what private companies do with their money, but I don't understand this from a business or marketing perspective.
Are they being threatened with bad ESG scores, or are investors holding back and forcing them to do this?
Or are their progressive marketing departments acting alone with no oversight?
