Voted on line in Lousiana from Trinidad here in the Caribbean. Had to fill out a form verifying my last residence as Mandeville where I was registered. Week later they sent me the ballot, signed, scanned and sent in.

If there’s an Edwards on your ballot, vote against them.

Just got back from voting early with the wife in Covington. Still long lines but moving well. Took about 15 minutes.

Sounds like I'll be the only sumbitch in the building Nov 5th
Lines are for schmuck and are only acceptable when running a train on some ho
In all seriousness they did what they could to convince conservatives that there was no reason to bother and they stay at home. Looks like they failed. I figured they would

A Ukraine "report card", opens new tab by Defending Democracy Together's "Republicans for Ukraine" campaign rated the leading candidates on the strength of their support for past Ukraine aid. Republican opponents of the aid view it as excessive spending and a misplaced U.S. policy priority. Those ratings ranging from A to F -- signifying support or opposition to prior bills -- could indicate how likely each would be to bring Ukraine aid to a vote if he becomes speaker. Representative Tom Emmer, the House Republican whip, got the highest rating, an A. Representative Steve Scalise, the No. 2 House Republican, has long been favored to take over as speaker after McCarthy and received one notch lower, a B.
America first or get the frick out. I want my rep to get an F on Ukraine. You can’t keep voting people in not paying attention to their voters.

Representative Matt Gaetz, who led the push to oust McCarthy, has said he would support Scalise. Gaetz himself, House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan and hardline rising star Representative Byron Donalds all received Fs.

That’ll make them stop switching votes? All she has to do is stop sounding the alarm?

I saw it with my own eyes in real time.
Maybe people like you should be more open minded to the evil that is going on.

Is Scalise MAGA? No.
Is Scalise Cheney, Kinzinger, or Bill Cassidy? Also no.
Scalise is a reliable MAGA vote because he isn’t stupid. Vote for him.

No on the amendment. Money should go to the general fund, IMO, instead of more coastal wetland boondoggle projects.
The money will actually be used for private landowners under the auspices of coastal wetland protection. The landowners will be given more money to block off public access to the marshlands, swamps, and reservoirs across the state of Louisiana.

It really is a shame when your primary consideration for voting for an amendment like this is trying to figure out whether it would be easier for politicians to steal the money from the General Fund or from a fund set up for the wetlands project.
But, that’s pretty much life in Louisiana.
