I see it daily, and it blows my mind daily. Granted, I work in healthcare so it can be somewhat justified but still not needed.

Because if the Corrvid taught us anything, it's that wearing ear loop cloth masks is actually an effective way to mitigated your chances of contracting influenza.
It didn't do shite for Corrvid prevention, but Corrvid particles are 4× smaller and lighter than influenza. Masks actually are helpful against the flu. Some people have compromised immune systems and want to mitigate their chances of becoming ill, and that's fine.
As far as the segment of society that still wears masks to "prevent Corrvid" goes, you can't fix them even when you present the facts. Just let them live their lives, and consider their mask a visual reminder of how ignorant they are.
