And that will probably never again be possible in my lifetime...
What are you 90? It'll be possible in the next 2-3 years the way things are looking.

The trash will be taken out soon and we will be back to our regular programming.

I've been to Slovenia.
Slovenia is not on the Mediterranean Sea.
It's on the Adriatic Sea.
Close enough for horsehoes, handgrenades, Americans...

I genuinely agree.
We just need a plan for when Russia collapses. Once that happens the floodgates are going to open.

What a waste.

NOW

You have supposed decades in the military and you still have to work?
I had a First Sergeant once say that a military pension still meant that you have to work, you just get to choose your own job, and even an officer's retirement can leave you broke if you're not careful or, you know, inflation hits like a MF're. So I choose to continue to study, learn, and write about my profession.
Of course, I didn't say I was retired.....

Meanwhile let's remember that Witkoff and Kuschner have been trying for over a year now to get people to take this government seriously. Which is now and has always been impossible.
Witkoff and Kuschner are distractions so that we don't talk about things like the looting going on, the Epstein files, the ICE murders, and so on. They're pawns; they aren't even the incompetent but empowered negotiators that they think they are, they're just there to keep the attention away from all the real stuff that is happening.

They were not a waste.... they were appreciated :-)

Similar to Croatia.
My son was studying in Graz in the late 90's at Uni Graz. He loved Croatia even then. If you were not at the front there was no danger. His first stop in Europe was at Braunschweig where US students stayed in housing the German students departed the following day. That night was a dinner with a German fraternity. Lots of singing and beer. Their rule was that if you left to go pee or threw up, you had to chug an extra beer.
While in Graz there was a lot of anti "Turk" sentiment among young adult Austrian men, which is what they called any moslem and who were known for wearing Addis sweat suits so easy to spot.

Usually the firehose is spraying in lots of Poli threads, too, arguing in favor of China on things and other weird stances that get very heated and argumentative, so he/they don't seem capable of subtlety.

Still no mention of a significant breakthrough in Siversk.
ISW- still relatively slow

Ukrainian forces continued their strike campaign against Russian military assets near the front line and in the Russian near rear on the night of January 27 to 28.
Ukrainian forces recently advanced near Pokrovsk.
