I HOPE this isn’t one of the things that McCarthy had to cave on to get the speaker votes.
Why?!?
If it's because of the Freedom Caucus, then they should be applauded, and hopefully their numbers will grow.
This may be a small step, but it is a step in the right direction.

This is all no-brainer stuff.
Exactly. They want credit for what's expected. It's like showing up to work fully clothed and thinking that merits a raise.

mtntiger, I think he means that surely McCarthy was going to remove these reps from those committees already.
Which I believe is the case. I think KM had voiced these removals previously when Nancy removed MTG and others from committees.
i always thought it was real interesting that Fang Fang (Swallwells spy) was killed in that Chinese airliner crash that pretty much lawn darted into the mountains straight down at 600mph. it was a very odd crash that from altitude came straight down.

This is retaliation, pure and simple. Nancy broke precedent by refusing to seat the Republicans choice for certain committees and the J6 committee. This would have happened regardless of who was Speaker. I don't disapprove either. Once you open doors (eliminating filibusters of judges for example), expect some form of retaliation from the other side.

I’m saying that if McCarthy had to have his arm twisted to make these obvious moves… we are looking at a carbon copy of the 16-18 house.

What's ridiculous about Booker is that he was the mayor of Newark NJ, which is basically a failed city. There's no track record of achievement there, no examples of good decision making in a tough environment, in fact there's a clear record of the opposite.
But...

Get a balanced budget amendment and they will leave on their own accord.
That would drive out all of Congress, pretty much.
Hairpiece Rogers got named Chairman on Armed Services committee, so you can pretty much guarantee more missile money is going to flow to the Ukraine during the GOP's stay in the house.

Swallowswell needs to be tried for treason for fraternizing with the enemy, I'm worried that slimy little cocksucker Schiff is going for the senate seat when Cruella De Ville croaks over, and Omar just needs to go back to wherever the hell she came from with her and her brother.

He threatened this shite a while back after shenanigans Nancy pulled

I’ve said this before, I think there’s a really good chance that McCarthy overcompensates at least early on to try to prove a point that his opponents were wrong so I’m glad to ride this wave as long as it ebbs.

Prohibiting all 3 from serving on committees
That is not what will happen, committee re-assignments. Kinda out of the spotlight for a while show the GQP can run their clown show for ya'll.
