I'm in favor of incremental progress. Focus on shutting down the flow at the border then ship out or execute the violent offenders. Don't want to be executed? Don't be violent. Pretty simple. Once you get the ball rolling there we can determine if someone has a valuable skill that they can stick around for.
Illegals shouldn't be counted in census numbers and we need to pass immigration reform through congress so that a simple executive order can't kick the can down the road any longer.

Sorry OP. You are wrong. Kick the criminals out. Keep the hard working folks inside. Force them to assimilate. Build a wall. That’s how you secure the future vote. Latinos WORK. Tax that income and give them a place to live. Kick the criminals out.

Once the benefits are cut off, many will self deport. Enforce existing labor laws. Make it impossible for illegals to support themselves and it takes care of itself.

Vance has already laid it out. Criminals first, then limit ability of illegals to transfer funds back home. This will cause a lot of them to return on their own. My guess is they’ll throw a DACA bone in there somewhere, but I would only do that if birthright citizenship was then eliminated.
