For once you are correct...Implementing Verified Photo I.D's at the Polls would suppress illegal votes...Why are you so scared of this Tsoyboy?

Let's play TBoy. Allow me to steelman your argument. Am I correct in stating that your opinion is that this bill will restrict and suppress the potential legal votes casted by legal American citizens?
If that is your position, as your claim states, please support your claim with data and evidence. The floor is yours.

I hope all KY voters mad at Mitch today remember that Massie voted against advancing the Save Act to the House floor, and that barely passed by 1 vote, with Massie being the only "republican" to vote against.

Keep in mind as well, all of the new documentation requirements are only needed to register, not to actually cast a vote. Apparently, TBoy and folks like him think that multiple years in between elections is just not enough time to request documentation to comply with potential new voter registration laws. How low must one think of people that one would have the opinion that people are unable to do a simple birth certificate request from their state dept of health?

Because they are not wired like normal people. They thrive on power and controlling others.

Pisses me off how we can’t get common sense legislation done.
This should red pill everyone in America about how much of a farce Congress is.
We flat out don’t have a functioning government of the people, by the people, etc if we can’t even get this basic thing done.

It’s a voter ID bill that will block a U.S. citizen from voting if all they have for ID is an ordinary drivers license. It’s a suppression bill. It should die.

term limits for congress is probably the most important issue that no one really talks about enough, and it probably will never happen sadly
Why do that when you can make millions by staying in office?

True or false. Most driver's licenses wouldn't be enough to vote under some versions of the bill.

Nothing suppresses votes more than millions of illegals cancelling the votes of American citizens.
This is the point I make whenever someone talks about how "immaterial" the illegal votes are. Even ONE illegal vote in Texas nullifies my constitutional right as a U.S. citizen. The government should make every single effort to minimize this risk, and if the states refuse, it would be a federal issue.

We already require ID to register to vote.
The federal government already has a cross check database that shows whether someone is a citizen. It has been in place and operational for more than twenty years.
Why do republicans estimate that the SAVE Act would deny more than 20 million American citizens the right to vote?
The answer is that millions of us do not have passports. Millions of us do not have original birth certificates. And millions more use a last name that is different than their birth certificate. The SAVE Act blocks those millions from voting.
This has nothing to do with a simple identification. This is about requiring a specific kind of identification that millions of Americans do not have, when it is entirely unnecessary.

McTurtle gained immense favor during Trump’s first term, because he was an absolute MACHINE of judge confirmations. He was processing and approving judges as rapidly as anything we've ever seen. We were happy.
In retrospect, the majority of those confirmations have let Trump down and failed America in the time that has passed since 2017.
Fast-forward to 2026. Trump has been in office for 14 months, and is still awaiting the GOPe to confirm his selections. The difference? In 2017, the Establishment chose his appointments for him. In 2025, he chose his own. The reaction to both scenarios perfectly demonstrates exactly how the system works.
