Life in prison for child killers isn't as long as most people think. I'm pretty sure even in women's prison that she will be dealt with by the code of the inmates. People who harm children are the lowest of the low in prison hierarchy.

I thought I'd heard everything associated with child abuse.
She needs the death penalty, but more likely, in this collapsing Justice System, she'll prolly be out on bond before the dirt around her baby daughters grave hardens.

What a fricking kunt. I thought no one could be worse than Susan Smith...who drowned her kids in a car. But this kunt made her baby slowly starve to death over the course of several days. Seriously, frick that kunt.

I read this story yesterday, and it truly sickened me.
This innocent baby ate her own feces out of starvation.
As the grandfather of an 18 month old. I can't imagine anyone being such a horrible human to a child of this age.

This hit several nerves with me. She's even more fricked up than my first wife.
Aren't fire stations and hospitals still Safe places to drop off unwanted kids? Parents, grandparents, friends... anyone?
As a grandparent this is absolutely heartbreaking. If someone, even a complete stranger, said they were going to let their child starve to death.. I would gladly take the child myself. I couldn't raise them but I could at least work to get the kid to other family members., something she was too ashamed or deranged to do herself.
