How do you figure this?
Because I'm not taking any vaccines; therefore 100% chance of not getting injured from them.

First, the disease hasn’t even been wide-spread for 16 months so there’s no f*cking way they can know this as a factual matter.
1. It’s been widespread in China for roughly 24 months, and in the USA and Europe for roughly 18 months.
2. They use models and algorithms and other stuff that is too technical for you ppl to measure the antibody levels and project their decline.

Pretty sure there are people that still have SARS-COV immunity which is also good for COVID-19. I'm not sure why natural immunity has been neglected like it has?

So it’s not a novel virus after all.

That's fine, I don't mind getting COVID again. I've had 3 colds this year from my toddler bringing bugs home from school and all 3 were more uncomfortable than COVID.

Cool. For a normal, relatively healthy human, who gives a frick?
Well given Louisiana and the southeastern USA higher than average rate of not healthy people there are probably quite a few people who give a f***.

I prefer natural immunity to whatever the frick you have injected yourself with

And then those people will move the goal post to if you have had a recent booster. It will never be enough once the fear has attacked their common sense.

I had a second round of COVID. It was mild the first time, and almost symptomless the second time. 17 month gap between the two.

Yes. Every viral vaccine produces memory T cells. Even the flu shot but the flu viruses mutates so fast that eventually the memory cells no longer recognize it. If y’all wait a moment I will find the link showing memory cells from the COVID vaccine and come post it.
ETA: Pfzer vaccine produces memory T cells.
Moderna produces memory T cells as well
If I ever get a booster, I'll wait a while after Novavax comes out since it is made from cut up batches of covid viruses. There is more to immune recognition response than simply the covid spike and that looks to me to be the weakness of the mRNA vaccines.

It’s only been neglected here in the USA. Most of the rest of the world considers proof of infection within the last 6 months or antibody titer levels checked within the last 6 months to be the same as being fully vaccinated. Only a tiny fraction of the population had been vaccinated when Biden came into office, but I suspect they had something to do with it. It was in late March or early April when I first noticed medical organizations and journals start downplaying natural immunity. I have sent many strongly worded emails to the state and national medical groups that I am a member of but these groups are all run by academics doctors who don’t care what their members say.

Wow amazing stuff. You've proven that people pass on cold viruses forever. Brilliant.

Ergo, it will happen with Covid.
Trust the science, bro.

Even with natural immunity the vast majority of antibodies produced are against the spike protein. The antibodies against other parts of the virus were found but they were found to be below effective neutralize levels in the serum one month after infection. Novavax is going to have the same problem as the other vaccines.

Evidently they don't care what the real world numbers say either.

It's a thing in the sense that those who had COVID and later got the jab seem to be the biggest success stories of the vaccinated. If you removed these people from the vaccinated category, imagine how bad the vaccinated stats would look.
