Massie forgot one important thing: he is there to vote how his constituents want him to, not how his own ideology tells him he should vote.
If you want to be an ideologue, then start a media platform to get your message out and convince voters to pick representatives who align with your ideology, if you want to be a congressmen then it’s your job to represent your constituents

The CBO says it increases the deficit because they aren’t being honest about projected revenue from the tax cuts and refuse to include tariff revenue. The OBBB will actually cut the deficit.

Not a fan of obstructionists. No politician will ever get everything they want in any damn bill.
I'm positive massie has voted yes on several bills he didn't 100% agree with in the past. But now, during a situation where neither side of the house is getting shite done.. he digs his heels in and tries to wreck the one big bill that actually has some of the stuff trump promised and people voted for.
The "purists" shite on the bbb because it also has some shite in there some people don't agree with. I don't agree with some of the bbb. But there has never been a big bill that i completely agreed with. I'm just happy at least some of the shite i wanted was included. At least we get something.
Massie would rather virtue signal and present shite that has no real chance of passing.... ensuring we get nothing we want. But at least he'd get the virtue signal points..
