What’s really sad is as a liberal your true colors of how you look down on employees and that you actually eat fast food.
I'm a liberal?

IDK if it's the same at Burger joints, but young workers at Starbucks never show up for work on time. A robot won't do any good since it can't unlock the front door.

I fully embrace this. I hope the McDonalds near my house with the ungrateful workers gets this upgrade soon.

Is there a link to this? This is the only link that pops up on a Google search

What is to stop me from walking in the back to the food prep area and walking off with a half dozen quarter pounders and fries?

So you think they will only replace bottom-level minimum wage jobs? You haven't been keeping up. It’s coming to all factory and production work. AI is about to take over. People don’t realize.
I’ve read several financial forecasts where they say that as much as 50% of all the jobs that exist today will be extinct in 10 years or so.

Blame the idiots who protested outside McDonald's for 15 dollars an hour.

Exactly. Younger people to need to find a trade. That is where the money will always be.

You think they can invent a robot to make a menu full of meals on demand, but not one that can operate a door lock on a time schedule?
Interesting...

I just had to read this article from 2020 for a school assignment. LINK

Millions of people have lost their jobs due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and now the machines will take away even more jobs from workers, according to the WEF. The organization cites that automation will supplant about 85 million jobs by 2025. WEF says there’s nothing to worry about since its analysis anticipates the future tech-driven economy will create 97 million new jobs. Currently, approximately 30% of all tasks are done by machines—and people do the rest. However, by the year 2025, it's believed that the balance will dramatically change to a 50-50 combination of humans and machines.

And now bitchy, socialist burger flippers make ZERO dollars per hour. Sadly, however, this is likely coming to an industry near you.
If they are genuinely socialist and progressive, they shouldn't be working at, and more importantly, eating the low vibrational chemical crap Mcdonald's sells. Sounds more like conservatives in disguise, they are always bitchin'.

The Kum & Go by my house has big robot moppers that I see mopping the floors pretty often.
Like a big Roomba.
