Kinda sad it takes YouTubers to expose corruption on this level.

There is a remedy though
Handcuffs and jail. As soon as the roaches see that, it throws them off their game.

Tim Walz will definitely cry during his speech today and it will be glorious

I mean....he is not wrong. Walz had these fraud issues bubbling up behind the scenes in small local/regional media doses, but the last couple of weeks and the daycare fraud video put it out there nationally to the point that DJT and Don Jr., commented.
Even local media was reporting on it years ago and no one listened.

Media reported on the 1984 Ethiopia famine for three years, worldwide, and no one listened.
Then someone actually filmed it, showed people, and the world woke up. Media needs to do the work - go out, show people. Nick Shirley did. Video is everything.

Shirley needs to visit Venezuela when the time is right. He speaks fluent Spanish and would talk directly to the people.
You should suggest that to him. He might be down.

This is the type stuff they should have let lead the way in the DOGE efforts. Why? Because the investigations into and resultant prosecutions already had the support of the Democrat/Biden FBI and there was already a boatload of evidence of the frickery. That type of fraud, which isn't limited to Minnesota, has a tangible impact on the communities where it is happening. It is real to people.
Instead, they chose to put the focus on the government waste that everyone already knew was going on, but for the most part was well removed from the everyday lives of American citizens. Those efforts were fine, even if they fell well short of the stated goals, but they had a limited shelf life as far as the general public cares. Throw Musk in the mix as the face of the effort and it all became an unnecessary circus.
This, the endless grift and abuse of Federal assistance programs, is the underpinnings of government waste. It is tangible, it has a real impact, and it can't be easily undone or stopped by simply cutting off the funding (as happened with USAID). It should have been recognized that the Democrats actually laid the groundwork to attack this problem with renewed energy. Reminding the public where these investigations started would have gone a long way to disarm a lot of the resistance you're seeing now.
I guess you live and you learn.

This can't be overstated.
Independent journalist Nick and his sidekick were able to do what several DAs and States could NOT do to Donald Trump. Getting a sitting or previous candidate to drop out of a political re-election campaign.
States That Temporarily Removed Donald Trump from the 2024 BallotThese states issued rulings disqualifying Trump from primary ballots under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment due to his role in the January 6, 2021, events, but the decisions were stayed pending appeals and ultimately reversed by the U.S. Supreme Court on March 4, 2024.
Colorado: Disqualified by the state Supreme Court on December 19, 2023; decision stayed during appeal, and Trump appeared on the ballot.

Maine: Disqualified by the Secretary of State on December 28, 2023; decision stayed pending judicial review.

Illinois: Disqualified by a state court judge on February 28, 2024; decision stayed during appeal.

Good post. What do you mean when you say this can’t be stopped by simply cutting off the funding?

If Biden can pardon Hunter for past and future crimes then Trump can pardon Nick to protect him from the Demoncrats.

In comparison to USAID and all the bullshite grants. With it you just see a grant for a study on "how well frogs frick to classical music" and you just cut off that grant. You can line item that with the quickness. The fraud centered around social programs and services is entangled with law-abiding people with legitimate need who have tried to do things the right way, whether that is a small business that followed the rules for a PPP loan, someone in the medical field just trying to navigate the endless red tape, or any number of people just trying to exist in the system we have. That makes just turning off the spigot politically untenable, and punishes the whole. That's why this type of fraud is so impactful. It has layers that touch every aspect of normal life, from just the pissed off average taxpayer to the grandmother who relies on these services.
They are two entirely different beasts.

A 23 year old kid with a GoPro and a social media account took down a US State Governor.
