I agree with a few of your points, of your points, but you spent way too much time perseverating on her cooking style.
I do agree about my wife dress and how she's holding the spatula. Also, isn't grilling horrible for the environment?

That grill isn’t even on. There would be flames from the hamburger fat cooking out. And look at that raw one in her hand… you see any fat bubbling up on the top of it.. which a burger does when it’s cooked?

This. It’s what me and my SO do. The grill is mine. I cook the steaks, ribs, chicken, etc. she cooks the sides. And does a damn good job of it too. Her southern style turnip greens are fricking awesome. So is her asparagus

Grill marks aren't aligned on both sides. Sausages just randomly tossed on the top rack. No one actually cooks wearing all white dress clothes. What a terribly staged photo op

To be fair she said she was having a barbecue, not that the food was barbecue. Seems like pretty common terminology for cooking out.

It's not authentic barbecue but it will get more positive feedback than a photo of barbecued sewer rat would get so I understand why they did it.
