Why not deal with Putin?
If we are so sure Putin won’t attack again, why not provide a security guarantee?
If we aren’t sure that Putin won’t attack again, why would anyone in their right mind (Zelensky) agree to a pause and let Russia re-arm?

The logic is that Russia has the resources to annihilate Ukraine 10x over. And the only way Ukraine stays in the fight is if our money keeps them in it. The money that the US has given Ukraine has done nothing but prolong a war that was never a fair fight, and it has gotten millions of Ukranian men killed. There are some battles that cant be won. The only way that Ukraine could have ever won this war was if there were US boots on the ground. And that was not an option. I REPEAT, US money has done nothing but guarantee that more Ukraine men died. NOTHING
