Let's ban bet. The US will finish FY 2025 with a deficit. You want to take it finishes in with a surplus?

Why so you can just create another handle? No thanks, I don't need a stupid bet to know you don't have any clue what is going on with this trade deal.

We've taken on over 15 trillion in investments into the US and expected to bring in over 700 billion in tarrif/yr.

Sounds like Americans actually do pay the cost of tariffs.

So doesn't infusing cash into the system, just cause more inflation?

You are completely misrepresenting this idea.

Trump called it a rebate, to give a little back.

It ain't a "rebate" if we aren't paying it.

We aren’t paying tariffs. We are making everybody else pay them to us and they aren’t even passing along the cost to us.

What is the driver of inflation and how is that affected by this?

I'm implying that inserting cash into the economy would increase inflation. Do you disagree with that?

How exactly is it inserted is the key.

Are we just printing thereby increasing supply? Then this may have a small effect. No more than say...increasing minimum wage. Actually probably less. Depends on how much we are talking about.

I dont want a rebate. I like foreign things costing more. Maybe someone will make those things here and avoid the tariff. Employing Americans.

Nope. There have been 15 trillion of "promises". Had that much CAPEX fllowed into our economy, our GDP would be up over 50%. That is not the case. Who doesn't have a clue?

Not when the money comes out of the economy in the first place.
