When something gets out that's embarrassing, a common tactic is to dirty it up with additional stuff so crazy the whole thing gets ignored. Now sometimes crazies do that without any help, and all you have to do is push their talking points. Sometimes you just need to seed them and then watch the crazies go to work.
But from a logical standpoint it's nonsense. The original truth claim, Epstein used his girls and hidden camera setup for blackmail, should be analyzed on its own merit. It's not less credible because 4chan added in child sacrifice and adrenochrome and a secret star chamber, it's not more credible because there are children trafficked in Russia.

Trump's admin arrested Epstein and he died under his watch in prison under very suspect circumstances.
Now he wants to discredit all of the evidence gathered leading up to this?
What is happening is so utterly transparent.
I will give Trump credit though, when he goes after an issue he can bend the truth like nobody else. Loyalty has no end with MAGA, even if he is no the list, no one will care.

I agree. I should have been more specific with my words. What I was referring to was the obsession that some Trump Supporters have with the Epstein Files. I don't believe that the entire thing was a hoax. Epstein did commit crimes of using underage girls in order to blackmail the Elite/People of influence. I was just trying to deduce why Trump would call out his own supporters.

Trump appealed to that crowd. One of the things MAGA likes to tout is that is brought in voters who typically don't vote, and that's true. But they came with a bit of baggage.

I think Epstein has been a politically opportunistic talking point from the beginning. Why MAGA became so invested in it has always been something I don’t understand. My suspicion is that the idea of coastal elites at Hollywood parties, university soirées, corporate retreats, and political fundraisers all raping kids plays to the imaginations and suspicions of the MAGA base.
For Trump it was one more way to vilify his political opponents. Trump’s own relationship with sexual scandal and immorality has for some reason been historically whitewashed by those in the USA who consider themselves the most religious.
It is entertaining to now see democrats who would roll their eyes of any mention of Epstein files scream to the sky for televised congressional hearings. Again it’s just political opportunism. Same stuff maga has done for almost a decade.
As for the truth, it no longer exists. Each person these days has their own inflexible relationship with truth and fiction. Like Russia Russia Russia, Covid, or J6 people on this board will accept that there was no client list or that there is a client list that has been fraudulently altered by either Israel, Obama, or Biden all depending on what names appear on that list.
