That the prosecutors will probably get off Scott free and their behavior is probably more the norm than an aberration around the country

Their behavior was sickening and they should be sanction and, again, prosecutors around the country behave this way to the detriment of everybody

Agreed. Political prosecutions should have consequences.

Fatlock will die of heart complications soon and Binger takes it in the arse so I say they still lose no matter how you look at it.

The fact that the lead DA didn't try this case himself tells you that they knew it was a loser from the beginning.

I'm actually reconsidering my lifelong stance on the death penalty because of the prosecutorial conduct exposed during the Rittenhouse trial.

They didn't even really investigate and they still popped a 1st degree murder charge on the head of a 17yr old.

Motherfrickers didn't even bother investigating anyone else who was involved. Literally went out of their way to not look deeper into huber or Rosenbaum.

The other scary thing is it took four days and not four minutes for the jury to render it's verdict.

This was a slam dunk that never should have been brought to trial.

Eh, I'm not that mad about this. There was an absolute arse ton of evidence that they had to sift through. Should it have even been tried? No, but I'm also not going to bash the jury for being deliberate and examining the evidence when it made it to them.

I agree with this. While I think the verdict was correct and there's a huge sense of relief for a lot of people, I think the Overton window on this has moved in the wrong direction. This never should have gotten to this point and we shouldn't be focused on the verdict, but on all the bullshite that led to this point in the first place. If the leadership of Kenosha/Wisconsin had actually sought to impose some law and order, Kenosha never happens, or at a minimum assholes like Rosenbaum, Huber and Grosscrotch get rounded up and thrown in jail. All these awful things happened through willful blindness, ignorance, or complicity on the part of politicians, the press, etc and that shite needs to stop.

I also reluctantly give the jury some credit for taking their time to appear like they considered all of the other evidence and did not rush to a judgment that could’ve led to more rioting

who knows how many innocent people Timone and Pumba have railroaded without the luxury of video evidence capturing the entire altercation

very eye opening how hard those slimy pieces of shite work to ruin the lives of innocent people. i'm glad the right conclusion was reached this time, but i've personally lost a ton of respect for "the system" in general.

And multiply that 100 times for federal prosecutions as we have witnessed over the past four years

Kenosha riots happened because of the Jacob Blake shooting. The one where Blake broke into his exes home, inserted his fingers into her vagina, sniffed them and said "you smell like youve been with other men". Then he takes her keys, and her two boys on the couch in the front room and she calls the cops.

We need to go all the way back to the beginning. Why were these motherfrickers out in the street over something that was PURPOSEFULLY misreported? What about the divisive headlines around this trial? The news media is almost 100% to blame, but that also means discussing propaganda and how far its reached into American psyche.

This.
I figured if it took more than half hour he’d be scarred.

I agree with you completely. Anyone involved in bringing charges against Rittenhouse should be hanged.

Prosecutors primary responsibility is to the cause of justice, to see that justice is done. While their job entails investigation, filing charges and ultimately trying a criminal defendant and dealing with police, detectives, and judges, they don’t “represent” these elements. A prosecutor (in the interests of justice) is not to hide facts that if known would be useful in ascertaining the truth. Likewise, a prosecutor should not bring a case that on its face is contrary to the facts and law just to take a chance at a conviction. Presumably, they are taught this in law school and are so informed when they join the local district attorney’s office. However, due to ignorance , politics, local practices, and plain old malevolence, their prime duty to Justice is ignored.

The general public’s ignorance of the case, of firearms, and the media’s publishing straight up lies with no consequences.

Thank you Hamilton Burger!

This is repeated over and over again on Perry Mason and it should be through today without the bastardized prosecution now
