School walkouts

I live in a Republican majority county with all Republicans in office at the county level
My kids all go to private school. Yet I still pay tax for public schools thru my property taxes. A pretty hefty annual amount that could go to my family.
Teachers lead “walk outs” for students to leave school and protest something that the majority of this country, and 70% of my county voted for.
Illegal immigrant children who are in the “walk outs” waving Mexican flags.
I don’t even understand the message of the “walk out”. What are they walking out from ? I don’t want them there and don’t want to pay for them to be here. Yet they are walking out as some sort of punishment to the tax payers who have to pay for them to be there?
Hard not to be infuriated by all of this

I wouldn't give a shite about this and chalk it up to the stupidity of youth and those that "can't do", if the kids could read. But they can't, so this shite is irritating AF.

IDK if going to a town hall or a PTA meeting would help, but there needs to be some push back.

This should not be tolerated. Loss of learing time aside, "field trips" and other deviations typically need permission slips. Even with permission slips, it isn't what those kids are state mandated to be there for.

I have kids in middle school and high school.

Video at mark, Decoy points out the teens who walked out in Stockton, CA. and how it was noted on line, this being a bad look... for a group who has 0 % math proficiency....
sure enough, he looks it up. And it only gets worse.
Our public teachers have become union based activists. There has got to be something against the law in this alone.
