Britt sat back and watched to machine smear the competition and it worked.
I will say there are MANY people pissed with her right now, so I can see her losing, if we get a decent candidate.

Britt didn’t commit publicly because she was waiting on the votes for Thune so that she had cover to “vote” for Scott. Oldest legislative trick in the book. She will serve for 30 years and never do anything remarkable or risky.

Like it or notl, Thune, Capito and Langford have new leadership roles w/ the Senate Republicans so they're probably safe.

Again, what exactly has she or Shelby done to cause such an uproar with some of you people? All I'm seeing in this thread is hearsay and nothing concrete.

Alabama I don't understand why you don't like Shelby and all the money he brought to the state and universities.
Because all that money was at a cost. We dont want fed money, we want them to STOP spending money

Ranked Choice
from what I read about it that was stupid to begin with
Ranked choice voting is how Murkoswki has held onto her seat and how a Democrat won Alaska's only seat in the House of Reps despite the state not going blue in a POTUS election since LBJ 60 years ago.

If that money was going to come out anyway aren't you happy that it went to the state of Alabama and it's universities instead of California and it's insane policies?

I never have and never will vote for Britt, but it's a bit naive to believe she'll lose a primary
People who think Katie Britt could be primaried have absolutely no clue about the role of the University of Alabama Machine in state politics.

In the meantime, she'll make millions and millions of dollars, enriching her family for generations. And when she finally leaves office at 80 years old, she'll be able to say she did absolutely nothing for Alabama or for the United States of America.

Defeatist attitude. Alabama was just fine without Shelby's government money. If we had just let Alabama citizens keep their money to begin with, it would have been better spent
