Gosh i cant imagine what Trump would have done had this hapened under his watch.
I know this would not have happened because they would be afraid of what he would do. But goodness he would level acres of land.

Well, he turned the leader of the only group to test him into street pizza immediately, so I'd imagine he'd be unleashing the hounds to roll in, get our people out, kill anyone who looks at you funny and THEN leave once we confirmed everyone who is there to either be out or dead. I'd rather lose servicemen to rescue efforts than what appears to be a kick in the arse on the way out.

Problem is we gave up our only damn air base in country, even drones can't stay on station long. The only real way to project force there would be to retake Bagram, which would undoubtedly cause more casualties. This thing has been botched so bad it's kind of hard to believe.
