I can see a higher percent in medical if you include research. AI and quantum computing will eliminate a lot positions.
With the same caveat that the industry itself will have to choose to do so.

I am no AI expert but am embracing much of what it offers. It’s going to be more difficult in someways for younger people because they don’t realize how easy it is to spot stuff created by AI.
I have a younger analyst that works for me and was asked a question by a client about his work product. The analyst’s answer was straight up AI - the client didn’t know but I did. His answer included opining about certain discounted cash flow models and which rates to use - shite I’ve dealt with for 30 years but things this analyst had yet to see.
If the client would have asked even a simple follow up question the analyst would have been exposed.
That’s one danger - AI can make you look smarter than you are and then when you need to explain you can’t.

I started using some AI at work and it a game changer. I have to check the work, but it builds reports and finds information in second and far more thorough and professional than I or a team can do manually.

What about Politicians
They won't be replaced. AI would interpret the Constitution factually, and America would heal immediately. They can't allow that.
Also, AI is not "my peer". I'm entitled to be judged by my peers if/when my online guardian agents finally get tired of me. That doesn't include a computer.

The good news is that illegals aren’t needed for anything, except the fraud, of course
No that’s the problem, AI is coming for the jobs white collar people want, it still can’t do the blue collar trade jobs they aren’t interested in that illegals will.

Beck talked about this today. Two of X-AIs founders (out of 12) resigned. Crazy stuff. Says they can now put in the want, go to lunch, and it's done before you get back.
We need to make sure we stop importing white collar replacements. Not enough room for that competition.

The constitution requires a minimum number of politicians. I think the problem is that those positions aren't occupied by people looking out for anyone other than themselves.

Anyone who has worked with AI knows this is fear mongering bullshite.

AI can’t flip burgers like I did back in the day.

Only people who don’t work with “AI” regularly think this. It has its uses, but it’s absolutely terrible for a lot of things with no improvement in sight.

I live and breathe AI and have 20 more years of career and I'm not terribly worried.

And in five years. Five years goes by super quickly.

What would be the motive for this fear mongering? If people think AI is going to take their jobs wouldn't they tighten their budgets and not purchase any of these products?

So get ready for our Marxist living wage?
If any generation of Americans, I can certainly see this one as the one who drove it into the ditch for good.

I’m getting closer and closer to pulling the plug and going Amish or Mennonite every day.

IF AI could fix govt and all the fraud, we wouldn't have to pay taxes and can retire early.

Clicks. The author wants the clicks. Clicks are more important than facts.

I’m using some AI tools in the law that are cutting 3 hour tasks to 10 minute tasks. It’s there for document review. It’s not there for generating legal arguments with good authority.
