If there is sexual abuse going on in the SBC it should be investigated.
But they should be an equal investigation into Nickelodeon and there is not.

I usually skip over many of your posts MG, but the problem with religion and faith is MAN.
Whenever man can take advantage of other good people for their own benifit, the worst of the worst will do so.
It's not the fault of the true believer who wants to help and love his neighbor, it's those that take advantage of the good hearted who will give their shirt to someone who needs it.
It's very sad they are those that prey on the righteous and virtious.
Religion is not evil. Man is evil that uses religion for his own personal gain.

From what I understand the vast majority of the guidepost report had to do with accusations of a sexual harassment/sexual assault between pastors and adult females rather than kids. Also much of the report was that the churches fired them but did so too quietly.
It’s an odd thing for the DOJ to investigate because the SBC is simply an association not a governing body.
It would be like the DOJ investigating the NFL because of the accusations against deshaun Watson
