they've been trying to rope 1981 into the Millenial generation for years. It's Gen Y baby.

Gen X depending whether they graduated high school in 1999 or 2000.

I'm X and I spent a tremendous amount of time around my grandparents, the greatest generation.

80-81 is an Xennial like me, just FWIW.

It's a real thing due to the internet and social media, as we bridged the gap and are the main population cohort that lived significantly in both worlds.

quote:

A microgeneration stuck between Generation X and Millennials has gained attention in recent years as some people don't feel a connection to either age group.

The "Xennials" are those born on the cusp of when Gen X-ers and Millennials meet, and therefore experienced world events, and especially technology, in unique ways particular to their age.

According to Pew Research, members of Generation X were born between 1965 and 1980 and Millennials were born between 1981 and 1996. Xennials, though, were born some time between 1977 and 1983.

Usually the microgenerations aren't as distinctive, but the combination of internet/social media and 911/Columbine in our formative years did create a difference

Boomer here and MAGA to the bone. I fought the good conservative fight for 40 years in the news business. So glad to see the awakening within the younger ranks. Long time coming. Give ‘em hell.

I am a later Boomer and I love it. I have been unimpressed with the leaders between my age (63) and these kids. Now I am more hopeful for the future for the young kids I volunteer with.

People associate people my age with the cretins that are the Clintons' age but my age group was the last 18-24 cohort to vote Republican (for Reagan) in 1984 unless the current one did in 24.

Gen X has never made much news, either way.
We've always been here. We're just much smaller and sandwiched between two large generations. Our problem was that when the Boomers finally decided to leave the workplace, a lot of employers looked to develop younger talent instead of leveraging the Gen Xers that have been patiently waiting their turn. I'm glad to see Gen X finally being significantly represented in our government.

The other main point: Gen Xers don't give a shite. We had to be ruggedly independent as moms went to work. We figured shite out. We didn't have time to feel sorry for ourselves and feelings. I think it's hilarious that Gen Xers are going to be the cause of so much more liberal melt. They could even rival our President.

I'm a boomer, and wanted it to come to pass since the first time I voted for Trump 8 years ago

Needed new blood, because the Romneys, McCains, Murkowskis, Collins, McConnells were mostly spineless

I think it's good, too. You're right Gen X has experienced basically the same thing as the Silent Generation, which was sandwiched in between the WW2's and the BB's. I LOVE the tesm that DJT has put together. It runs the age spectrum from Elon's Geek Squad (Gen Z), some Millenials, mostly Gen X. all the way to thr man himself, President Trump.

I'm for all of them. MAGA all the way. I just don't see any reason for division..That's one thing I will say for the dimwit Democrats. They might have one weak-arse team, but from David Hogg to AOC to Nancy Pelosi, they almost always stick together (although there has been some finger-pointing since 11/5).

Let's all stick together and max out this MAGA revolution. Between Dems, the Deep State, corporate media, Globalism, and the Establishment wing of the GOP, heaven knows we already have enough enemies.

If you followed Trump at all, you could see this.

I suspect his choices were based on varying mixes of 1) rubbing the Dem's nose in it, 2) who will do what he wants (which could range from following orders to "yes men") and 3) qualifications and experience.

TIL 60 year old women tell their male friends about their perceived physical imperfections. Must be a generational thing because this is not true for my demographic.

Here is the problem-You have consistently posted in such a manner for everyone to believe you are an idiot and you continually prove it with every single post

I have responded pointing out what I consider to be facts and evidence and this will be my last response

Nobody has ever said she told her male friends about anything but you're assuming that there isn't a friend group that contains a numerous amount of females as well as visual observations And it is certainly not difficult to determine if somebody had plastic surgery done within a 30 day window

Any rational human being can even tell when simple Botox is applied

Yes. President Trump is not only a boomer, but HE'S THE ONE who appointed them. He certainly "saw it coming".
