I was never on board with Trumpism for a few reasons, none of them "leftist." The primary ones were (1) leftist economics (2) Trump's big spending (3) Trump's potential to expand government power.
People labeled me a "Leftist" because in their minds (polluted by in/out group dynamics and the effects of the echo chamber), anything non-Trump was therefore "Leftist"
The irony is that my positions counter to Trump are all anti-Leftist.
Leftists want leftist economic policies. Leftists want big deficits. Leftists want to expand government power.
The supreme irony is that in these threads, 9 years later, I'm being proven 100% correct. This is a thread literally calling for the invalidation of our Constitutional system, suspension of elections, and promoting Trump remain in power. If you can't admit how right I was 9 years ago with this abomination, you're left reality and I'm not sure if coming back is an option.

We are in deep shite until we start electing people that are willing to burn it all down in the name of justice for all. Continuing to protect theives and robber barons on both sides of the isle and maintain relationships with countries that hate us is just more of the same. Trump is a disappointment to date and I have little hope that anything important to the average law abiding citizen will be accomplished and the grifters class keeps grifting.
