Nah, your over complicating it. DEI is racist and illogical. Nobody should be hired or promoted based on race or sex, the most qualified and hardest working should be rewarded with being hired or advancing. That's the American way. That is what made America great.

Yes, we need to resegregate America, and frankly it should have happened a long time ago. In fact a strong argument can be made that due to racist DEI policies being implemented across the country that whites have been unfairly looked over for qualified positions and blacks and females, especially black females, have been planted into roles that they are completely unqualified for.

You are taking (one, particularly) segments of society and applying laws and standards to them differently. That is classifying them as a segment of society with different rights then others, which I'd say is closer to segregation than discouraging DEI.
All men are created equal is spelled out in the Declaration of Independence for a reason. It was enough for us to kill a huge chunk of our population, once and it's worth fighting today.

What company's DEI policies dictate that their employees must be a minority or woman? Name and shame the companies that have these policies in place.
The companies I worked for with DEI policies just meant employees had to sit through professional development around not being a racist a-hole.

This is a really piss-poor argument and continues to prove why DEI was done away with. I'm so glad I no longer have to take 15 hours of "training" every year at my job where I am told that things like "accountability", punctuality, and spending money wisely are things of "white privilege".
PS - the same groups/political party that promoted segregation, Jim Crow, DEI, and is now promoting segregation again (while promoting DEI).

the United States military has routinely sent minority officer candidates to OCS with lower grades and PT scores than their white male counterparts.
