They aren’t geniuses. They have a playbook and unfettered whitewashing, coverup, and promotion by the garbage media. They also had, until recently, universal support from social media.
It’s not that hard to be an idiot that controls absolute idiots when you have media and social media. Entities that will take your narrative, polish it, and push it.
The right has this completely false sense of righteous indignation that is only present at the podium. The claim of “if we govern like government is supposed to…. People will see that and vote for us.” Sounds great….. doesn’t work.
THAT’S why the right looks feckless. The leadership believes that by setting an example.. people will fall in line with them and demand the same of the other side.
Meanwhile the other side engages in scorched earth lawfare, slanderous speeches, libelous drivel, unbelievable hypocrisy, head in the sand denial of their wrongdoing, breathless claims of others wrongdoing while they are actually doing it, etc.
And they are getting elected.
The “we need to get along” right needs to be shipped back home. We need some freaking fighters up there. Not these limp wrists who babble about decency, integrity, and what’s right.

I don't see that as a deliberate strategy. I see that as an inevitable consequence of the fact that traditional Judaeo-Christian values are inherently less attractive to younger people and more selfish and immature people.
People who allow themselves to be highly influenced by pop culture are generally more immature and selfish.
The one thing I will give you on that is that the Left did deliberately infiltrate education, both higher and lower. That was a deliberate move.
But you think the right has been bereft of their responsibility for failing to be as conniving, sneaky, collusive, manipulative, and devious as that?
I can't really fault them (us) for that.
