I think it does, to some extent. I've never been a MAGA purist, but I'm also uninterested in letting the NRO version of conservatism wrestle back control.
I like Vance. But I'm focused more on WHY the knives are out for Vance than whether it precludes Vance from a win down the road.
I hate the very-online debate/narrative/catch phrases, etc. because I think so much of it looks very different IRL and off X (and it's just frankly pretty lame a lot of the time). But I do think those shouting "the postwar consensus is pushing back hard!" - cringe as it is - are right.

If anyone wants to see what I'm talking about, go get on X right now. Trump just said "we've heard on good authority the killing in Iran is stopping" so you're about to see a collective freak out from the usual suspects and I'm sure tons of them are going to blame JD.
