Normally will discount even weather reports from OANN but this is not so far fetched.
1. Nancy has not closed the impeachment inquiry.
2. Schiff is still going to play the Russia angle....has said as much
3. If they keep the House and Trump wins they will go for a second bite after the new year. It is being trial ballooned.
I know a few old line Democrats, party loyalists, who have told sitting House members that they are making a mistake...and overall it falls on deaf ears. They insanely hate the man. They want to punish him and his supporters and they believe time is on their side and are willing to play the long game. They figure they only have to win once.

Sooner or later, we will have no choice but to fight these bullies.
I do not want them to win. Then fighting them is too late.
I believe, it's just my opinion, we need to strike hard and strike fast. Send them all to the morgue.
There's no reconciliation.
There's no prize for being nice and a good loser.
I understand the universe doles out karma.
I submit the universe understands why we did what we did.
We were protecting a lifestyle & not submitting to tyranny.
We didn't ask for this fight. They brought it to us.

IF the US electorate votes to keep Dem hold of the House, then they will have voted for never-ending investigations and impeachments against Trump.
If I were the Dems, I would ramp up all imaginable avenues of attack on Trump, regardless of the legality of such avenues of attack. No Dem has ever been put in jail for any kind of political attacks and that would simply serve to encourage me to use illegal attack tactics, if I were a Dem.
I think that the Dems are doing exactly what they should to maximize their chances of ousting Trump. It's the only chance they have.
These are revolutionary tactics, this is a coup de tat, and this is the ONLY hope that the Dems have.
IMHO every hard-core Democrat who posts here agrees with me on these points, although they would never reveal that on this board. They don't care if the whole thing burns down, just Oust the Orange Outsider.

This it the only thing I disagree with you about, I think it is their intention to destroy the USA as we know it, permanently, by destroying the Constitution and those of us who support it, which means to destroy US.
