if so, the Republicans have no chance in the general... there is NO WAY Trump garners any more substantial support from moderates, independents, and suburban women.... hell, he won't even have an entire chunk of Republican voters voting for him... he'll have a very intense minority of voters, but there's no way he can win the general...

This is likely right.

By far the most compelling of last night's debate participants was Chris Christie. He was on point with each question he was confronted with, an imparted humor as well as reasoned, intelligent responses.
CC would beat Biden. Not sure anyone else on that stage would. Trump was more likable when he lost to Biden last time. This time he has no chance.

LMAO! OK
you can laugh it off if you want... but where is the support he'll need going to come from?

quite contrary... Trump is KNOWN entity, unlike 2016... everyone knows exactly what they are getting with him... some love it, some tolerate it, some hate it, etc...
so given what we know of him, his current support as well as his current detractors, where will the necessary votes come from?

Biden really is Obama.
That is one difference between Biden and Carter.
Carter didn't have someone else hand up his arse.

After last night it’s obvious. What a clown show that debate was
Trumps interview had a lot of substance to it, he impressed me. Desantis isn’t ready for the big stage yet. I think Burgum would be solid if I had to vote for someone in that debate
Then the republic is doomed. I refuse to believe a 77 year old man who has no self-control, cannot hire competent people is our best and brightest. I would take almost anyone on that stage over Trump.

Biden's unfavorables are dipping into Hillary territory.
Biden didn't have that drag in 2020.
Trump doesn't have to outrun the bear, he only has to outrun Biden.
Of course that all changes if it's not Biden.

Let me guess... you believe the election of 2020 was just fine.

This is the order:
1-Trump
2-Desantis
Nobody else is worth mentioning. If either one of those are not the next President we are fuked you hear me.

do you have any definitive proof, that hasn't already been struck down in the courts or that is previously unknown to anyone else, that it wasn't?

It's a stretch to think CC could beat Biden, but he impressed me in the debate last night.
Vivek did well, not great. DeSantis is a joke-- he needs to exit stage right, before he gets the hook.

oh, he's quite unfavorable... i dislike the job he's doing very much, fwiw

fair point, but he also doesn't have 4 indictments hanging around his neck either...

and yet, he's not doing that... and i'm not sure what you think is going to happen, but as these lawsuits get started and it's all Trump, all the time, fatigue is going to set in with those groups i mentioned... they'll either not vote, or vote Biden to just not have to hear about Trump anymore... it's just the truth...

He won't come close to being elected after over a year of fending off federal and state felony charges. The public shame is excessive
So you admit it is directed election interference by the DOJ and Progressive prosecutors?
And you support that?

He’s not a natural at this part of being a politician, and it’s understandable he was feeling the pressure on top of it.
He's been in politics for the last 13 years. He's 44 years old. How much more do you think he needs to be a natural?

Ah! You see that's your issue Chris. No Standing does not equal hearing the evidence in court. It means you are not the one to bring it to court. So here you go:
-Of the 3 cases heard brought by Trump, He won 2.
-VoterGA won at the GA Supreme court who stated that yes VoterGA does have standing and now is back in court. They have their evidence and it's located on that ANTI TRUMP website. That's right Chris, the man leading the charge is NOT a Trump Supporter. LINK Feel free to look around.
- Just made public, 1 Democrat paid organization delivered 10K illegal Ballot Registrations to JUST 1 COUNTY in Mi. It was so bad that the DEMOCRAT AG had to admit to it because the story became public.
That's a few of those illegal ballot registrations.
- Muskegon GOP has produced a report of serious ‘irregularities‘ in the Muskegon County voter file from 2020 that shows 32,000 more voters on the voter file than normal.
It was more than wide spread.

Let due process do its course. If he did the crime, he needs to do the time.
I prefer my presidential candidates without a criminal record
