That Trump, always thinking ahead. He’ll need a place to call home after his term is up.

I grew up in suburbs. I was extremely Republican until a few years after I graduated from college. It’s amazing how exposure to different people and experiences can teach people things.
Y’all used to ridicule me for living in section 8 housing and getting food stamps. When did I become affluent?

I’m all for it but how does an executive order bring them back?

Maybe it’ll start a conversation. Insane asylums are desperately needed.

Let me know when this changes from right wing fantasy to something real.

ETA: last week, this clown show administration sent letters to 2,000 agencies that provided mental health and addiction support to the public telling them their funding was cut effective immediately. The clowns caused so much chaos and confusion that they reversed this decision before the day was over but lots of chaos and confusion remain.
Yes, it was reversed after strong pushback from the GOP.
This included mental health and substance abuse treatment and prevention targeting youth and in schools. We know where the administrations hearts are on the issues of mental health.

I would love to see the receipts on how this money was so wisely spent.
I'm sure it was a few million to hang some posters and list some helpline numbers.

Maybe one of these asilums can be Trump's new home.

Call them Care Facilities, or anything besides Insane Asylum. Too much pop culture around the term Mental Facility and particularly Insane Asylum.
Call them Nut Houses or Mind Repair Facilities.

You can model it as the Betty Ford Clinic, and call it the Donald Trump Mental Health Clinic and Casino.

Prior to the ‘80’s, I’d see a hobo or two during the week in Birmingham. After they stopped involuntary commits, it wasn’t a year and they were under most of the over passes and walking around. It’s drugs or mental illness or both. Honestly, the more humane thing was forcing them into treatment
